ShowPro of South Florida (ShowPro) is dedicated to providing top quality production services at competitive prices and developing lasting relationships with all of our clients across the country. We have installed equipment in venues from large-scale arenas to houses of worship to small conference rooms and have provided production services to clients ranging from the largest corporations and performance artists to the smallest schools. No matter the client, and whatever their production needs, ShowPro provides the utmost dedication and highest level of professionalism. Our goal is to make sure our clients can establish a world-class venue or create a captivating event while focusing on other details and leaving the production to us.
ShowPro was created from a 2017 merger between Show Productions of the Palm Beaches (established in 1992) and Griffin Theatrical Engineering (established in 2008). This allowed us to combine the experience and clients of two companies with more than 30 years of collective production professionalism. Our core team has an impressive combined experience of almost 100 years in all facets of the production field. When combined with our crew members and business partners, the expertise we can provide is unparalleled.
ShowPro is based in South Florida with our main offices in Coral Springs (just outside Fort Lauderdale). Our main client base is from Orlando to Miami to Key West. We also maintain a number of clients across the country and are able to serve any client of any type no matter their location.
THE TEAM
NICOLAS STONER
President & Chief Executive Officer
Nick has been building his reputation and career in the live production industry for decades. Although Nick’s original passion was strictly audio based, he has gained a wealth of professional experience in all aspects of production throughout the years. Audio, lighting, video, and LED technology is constantly evolving; Nick prides himself on keeping ShowPro current with consistent professional education.
After years of freelance work, Nick completed a degree of science from Full Sail University tailored toward the production industry. After his studies, Nick dedicated 7 years to a 1,600 seat theatre in Deerfield Beach, Florida as its General Manager and Technical Director. Throughout those years, Nick continued to freelance as a Production Engineer for several companies, including Show Productions of the Palm Beaches. In addition, Nick partnered with Edmund Griffin as a co-owner of Griffin Theatrical Engineering.
Over the years, as the Vice President of Griffin Theatrical Engineering, Nick developed a working relationship with the then-owner of Show Productions of the Palm Beaches, David Imber. Nick always sought to merge GTE and ShowPro. This goal came to fruition in the 2017 merger which created ShowPro of South Florida. As the current President and Chief Executive Officer of ShowPro, Nick is leading the company toward regional and national expansion.
ADRIEN SOLANO
Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Starting at the age of 14, Adrien trained as an Audio Engineer at Fort Lauderdale’s Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Soon thereafter, he joined Griffin Theatrical Engineering (GTE) as a Production Engineer, working with clients on a wide variety of projects. Some years later, Adrien moved to the finance department of GTE and was instrumental in the legal and financial aspects of the 2017 merger that created ShowPro of South Florida. Adrien is now a Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer for our company.
Adrien holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Strategy from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Even though he now manages our finances, he still enjoys getting behind an audio console now and then.
DAVID IMBER
Executive Production Manager
In 1992, after years of touring, David Imber founded Show Productions of the Palm Beaches. During its 25 years in operation, the company grew into a widely respected production firm with clients across the country. Since the 2017 merger, David continues to work with ShowPro of South Florida in a reduced capacity as our Executive Production Manager. When David isn’t working with us, you can find him hanging out with his adopted father Chris Christini at Christini’s Ristorante Italiano in Orlando, Florida.
EDMUND "GRIF" GRIFFIN
Chief Engineer (Retired)
Over his career, Grif has held innumerable positions in all aspects of production including audio and lighting engineering, stage and tour management, systems design, and technical direction. His broad knowledge and experience with artists and musicians stems from working many years as a professional Lead Guitarist, Writer, and Arranger. While working on crews for artists such as George Benson, Jimmy Buffett, Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam, and many others, Grif has built an extensive portfolio which includes music concerts of all genres, Broadway theatre and dance, lectures and conferences, and houses of worship. Over the years, he has worked for employers such as Cellar Door, USA Booking and Management, and the Sunrise Musical Theatre. Most recently, Grif served as Head of the Audio Department at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. In 2008, he founded Griffin Theatrical Engineering which grew into a successful production company with clientele across Florida. Though he is retired, Grif is still a part of the ShowPro family
